Grilled Chicken
Quick, Easy & Fresh!
Ingredients:
Chicken Breasts (Bell & Evan’s organic is the best)
2 Tbsp Thyme with stalks removed
3 Garlic Cloves
Salt
Pepper
3/4 - 1 cup Olive Oil
Half a Lemon, juiced
Dash of Red Pepper flakes
Procedure:
Cut chicken breasts in half (horizontally) to create thin slices
In a food processor or blender, blend thyme, garlic cloves, olive oil, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes
Marinate the chicken for 5-7 hours. If you don’t have that much time, try and keep it marinating for at least an hour
Preheat grill to high temperature until you see it smoke/it’s very hot
Season chicken with salt and pepper before placing onto the grill
Keep chicken on the grill for 3-4 minutes before flipping. When attempting to flip, if the chicken sticks, it is not ready. However, when flipped, leave for another 2-3 minutes
Remove from grill and allow chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving/cutting
